Intro to Lifting Course
Taught by a Doctor of Physical Therapy

MARCH 9 TO MARCH 15 WITH A LIVE WEBINAR!

Hosted by Jen Health x PRX Performance

Want to start lifting weights but not sure where to begin?
Already lifting and want to move better, not just heavier?

The Strong Start Series is a free, one-week course designed to help you feel confident, capable, and safe in the gym - whether you’re brand new to strength training or have years under the bar.

This isn’t about chasing PRs.
It’s about learning how to lift in a way that works for your body.

Who is this for?

  • You want to lift weights but feel unsure, intimidated, or afraid of getting hurt
  • You’ve had pain or injuries and want guidance from a PT
  • You’re returning to lifting after time away
  • You already lift and want to refine technique, clean up movement, and feel better in the gym
  • You want a smart starting point - not a random workout plan

If you’ve ever thought “I should lift, but I don’t know how to do it safely” - this is for you.

Over 7 days, you’ll learn how to approach strength training with clarity and confidence - without fear, guesswork, or overcomplicating things.

Module 1:
Squat & Deadlift
(15 minutes)

Learn the foundations of two of the most important lifts - with real-world modifications, progressions, and variations demonstrated on another person.

Module 2:
Lower Body Workout
(15 minutes)

A short, approachable workout designed to help you apply what you learned - while learning how to adjust loads, ranges, and tempo for your needs.

Module 3:
Push & Pull
(13 minutes)

Break down upper-body pushing and pulling patterns with clear cues, variations, and options - whether you’re dealing with pain, stiffness, or uncertainty.

Module 4:
Upper Body Workout
(12 minutes)

Build confidence using weights with a simple, efficient session that meets you where you are.

Module 5:
Full Body Workout
(14 minutes)

Put it all together with a balanced full-body workout that reinforces good movement and smart progression.

Join me on March 15 for an hour long live webinar and a deep dive into the modules. Bring your questions for the Q&A at the end!

*To complete these workouts we suggest you have access to either a gym or these pieces of equipment: Dumbbells and a bench/chair.

A rack or barbell is recommended for those who want to take the more advanced options or learn proper form under a barbell. Optional equipment we will show includes pulleys, a box, and kettlebells. If you don't have all of these- that's okay! You can still get incredible benefits with what you DO have.*

Why Learn From a Doctor of Physical Therapy?

This course is taught by a DPT who specializes in strength training - meaning you’ll learn:

  • How to adapt lifts to your body (not force your body into a mold)
  • When discomfort is normal vs. when it’s not
  • How to modify without feeling like you’re “doing less”
  • How to progress intelligently - not recklessly

Ready to Start?

If you’ve been waiting for a safe, intelligent, and approachable way to begin (or improve) strength training - this is it.
