About Robb Wolf

We developed LMNT Recharge because we were frustrated with the lack of healthful electrolyte products on the market. We were fielding questions daily from people in our communities struggling to get adequate electrolytes, but could not recommend anything on the market.

The hard truth is that available electrolyte products are high in sugar and woefully lacking in actual electrolytes. Based on the latest nutritional science, getting adequate electrolytes through these products equates to over 100 grams of added sugar per day. We don’t think anyone needs this amount of sugar.

For years our recommended solution was to buy electrolytes in bulk and make your own electrolyte homebrews. After spending too many hours meticulously measuring and mixing our own electrolyte homebrews and getting stopped by airport security one too many times for carrying dozens of baggies full of white powder, LMNT Recharge was born.

Elemental Labs was co-founded by Robb Wolf, Tyler Cartwright, Luis Villaseñor, and James Murphy.

Robb is a former research biochemist and is the 2X NYT/WSJ Bestselling author of The Paleo Solution and Wired to Eat. He has transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world through the RobbWolf.com community.
